Face Mask for Local Hospitals

Since the emergence of COVID-19, hospital and health workers need more than 1,000 face shields a masks a day.

To help fill the gap between the limited supply and overwhelming demand, the College of Engineering's student group, HOPE, has begun printing masks for local hospitals.

Your donations will go toward the purchase of additional 3-D printing machines to increase capacity, as well as to the cost of purchasing more raw materials.

Honor the first responders and health-care workers in your life by ensuring that they have access to the personal protective equipment they need so badly.

Any help is great help! Printing the bands is our slowest production step and any machine with printing capabilities will boost our production.

$800

High-capacity 3D printer

In order to increase production of our slowest part on the production line, we are in need of more and better equipment. This printer would allow us to print up to 3 more bands at a time.

$4,000

Laser cutter

The laser cutter is needed to be able to more quickly cut and create the specialized part that makes up the visor. We will need this machine to become a full scale operation.
