As a graduate of the University of South Carolina’s College of Nursing, we hope the education, memories and friendships you gained as a student have proven to be a solid foundation for your career as a nurse. Whether you are a recent graduate or seasoned professional, you will forever be a part of Gamecock nation and a legacy of talented nurse leaders and educators.
One of the turning points in nursing school is entering Upper Division, where you probably experienced a healthy dose of nerves along with chronic excitement. While you anticipated clinicals, long study hours and an anemic social life, you also looked forward to the prospect of being a scrub-wearing nurse and donning the coveted stethoscope. As the quintessential tool of the trade, this stethoscope marks a signifying rite of passage for our students as they receive this most trusted instrument.
Knowing firsthand how important it is to be equipped with the right tools, we invite you to take part in an exclusive opportunity to provide much-needed support for student stethoscopes. Starting today, we would like your support to help us raise $10,000 by January 31 for our “Don’t Skip a Beat” campaign by making a sound investment in nursing education and providing students with a prescription for success.
